Nomads show in force at the 4th annual CQB Challenge PDF Print E-mail

{mosimage}The 4th Annual CQB Challenge went off as scheduled on September 16 & 17 2006 and was better than anticipated. The competition was tough and the scenario's were even tougher. The Nomads arrived at the challenge with 14 of its 16 team members and 13 of them would participate.

Saturday, September 16, 2006, was all day training with live fire, hand to hand, and tactical training with some of the best instructors you could ask for. Sunday, September 17, 2006 would prove to be one of the best airsoft days to date.All 20 teams would participate in a Mil-Sim, L.E.-Sim, Stationary Kill House, and Obstacle Course all of which were more intense then the previous year. The NOMADS placed first in the L.E.-Sim with the highest score of the day 1015 and a time of 4 minutes and 22 seconds. The NOMADS placed 5th in the Mil-Sim and placed 9th over all. The NOMADS would like to thank those who put forth the effort to put this on each year.

This years CQB Challenge was dedicated to Bruce A. Webb who passed away on March 1st, 2006 after a long battle with cancer.
