Callsign: K-Lo Joined The Nomads: 2005 Specialty: Entry Team/Point Primary Weapon: MP5A2 Secondary Weapon: M4 CQB Favorite scenario?: Law Enforcement CQB is my favorite. It's quick and very technical. You can feel your heart rate go up when zoned in. About you: I'm an office manager, web developer and DJ when not busy with airsoft. I'm into tuning my S2000, hanging out with friends. Most memorable experience in tactical airsoft?: 2006 CQB Challenge, when we had to rescue hostages from a very risky situation. Team entered through the window of the northwest room. We were in the room on standby, subjects where in the living room threatening hostages. All of a sudden, shots fired, we went in, took out 1st tango upon entry, took down 2nd tango holding hostage outside of the house. Had the fastest time, no hostage loss, no operator loss or injuries and had the record score for law enforcement scenario. Most embarrasing experience? Gun releasing all the green gas during practical shooting competition. What's the toughest situation you've found yourself in? Definitely the 2006 CQB Challenge Milsim. We lost alot of operators in that scenario. I was the only operator left alive inside the building with two more tangos, had a firefight with both. One kicked a door towards me, my Systema M4 which at that time was raised in ready position took the door and the barrel went through it. I was shooting through the door while another tango was going around to shoot, so here i was holding and shooting an M4 with the right hand and drawing my 1911 with the left. In the end I had to let go of the M4 which was stuck on the door and killed both tangos with my sidearm. What's the single most important aspect of being a Nomad? Under pressure a Nomad excels. |
